This young athlete maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer will have numerous high-profile supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, possesses numerous international courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and has ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.
However she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.
"He is the best player globally," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Officials commented that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, especially among younger fans.
The young star has millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
